Fourth in line, bridging 2022 and 23. Similar to the first 3 eps, a stream of consciousness and somewhat haphazard approach to making noise, and getting impatient with Ableton at this point as I recall. More songs than a typical ep, but has some short ones, and it’s still under 30 minutes without counting 2, maybe 3, remixes.
Still mostly rough drafts. Some I might revisit again later. Until then, I hope you enjoy these bits and bytes of crush fill on my way to figuring out how to do this live and creating a coherent full length album, or maybe not the coherent part.
Again, I did the cover art. I wanted to continue the trail tool theme. I’ve been trying to hammer things out for a while now, so there’s that. It’s a double jack, or sledge. I prefer an 8lb, but heavier is nice if it’s not too hot out. I’ve made a lot of bigger rocks smaller rocks, and sometimes I feel like I’m crushing shit up haphazardly, other times precision smashing is going on, yet still some rock shrapnel is flying. Put your shin guards on.
Expect some remixes of this material, especially audio levels as many of these tracks were not mastered. Listening is best served by engaging with the volume and sub knob and/or an EQ to suit your taste if you have one.
